When the ancients studied the heavens, they saw seven “planets” wandering among a background of fixed stars. The planets remain an invaluable reference in magickal practice and language, but they can also be a frustrating barrier for anyone unfamiliar with them. Pulling from different sources, we will explore the planets to better understand their characters, attributes, and correspondences, and discuss what it means when we encounter them in magick. We’ll choose colors and patterns aligned with our goals, place intention into our materials, and create something beautifully magickal. We will be working on a large square block in the workshop, but these same skills can be used in many ways, including for magickal garments. No sewing experience is necessary; I’ll teach you everything you need, but if you have sewing experience, this will still be fun and informative.

Here, we’ll explore the pre-Christian origins of the rosary, as well as its use as both devotional practice and petition spell. We’ll examine the mysteries of the rosary as a template for personal development and discuss ways of adapting the rosary to the path of the witch and the honoring of the divine feminine.
